The Comparison of Paper, Plastic, And Reusable Fabric Bags
All retail stores need a hearty supply of bags in order to place products inside of that customers buy. It is all a part of the customer service experience so that customers can carry all their items with just one hand, or even a couple of fingers, so that they can handle their products easier while on their way back home.

Paper Bags
Paper bags were the first of the bags to be conceptualized, since the 1800s as a matter of fact, but they have since been overthrown by plastic bags due to their costs and flexibility. Paper bags are still used by stores today, and are considered the viable alternative to plastic bags for stores that want to send a health-related message.
Paper bags are biodegradable, meaning that they will break down and become a part of nature once more.
Paper bags do tear, but they are also very strong, meaning that it takes more effort to tear a paper bag than it is to stretch a plastic bag. When handled correctly, paper bags can be used multiple times past a customer’s time at your store.
Plastic Bags
The most popular of bags today, plastic bags are incredibly cheap to buy in bulk for stores. They are also disposable, and people go through tons of them in a single lifetime. Plastic bags, for the most part, are white, but they can be tinted into another color, such as pink, blue, or green, if you are looking for an appealing retail bag for shoppers.
Plastic bags stretch like elastic before they are penetrated. If you are to place multiple items inside of a plastic bag at a time, you will be able to conform the bag to fit around your bundle of items. This makes plastic bags occupy less space than paper bags, as paper doesn’t have the same ability.
There are a couple of detriments to plastic. Their quality depends on how thick the plastic is, so while you might choose the cheapest of plastic bags to buy, it may be very easy to tear or collapse when putting heavy items in them. Furthermore, plastic bags can pose a threat of suffocation for both children and pets.
Reusable / Fabric Bags
Reusable bags are made of fabric and are considered the highest quality of bags to consider for stores. Out of the three types of bags, these bags are the least disposable, meaning they are the most likely to be kept inside the home and used for other occasions. This is great for when your store logo is on the side of the bag so that your customer is more likely to return.
Unlike paper and plastic bags, however, these reusable bags are not all that practical for reuse, despite their name. Storing lunches and other items around the house are more ideal for those other two types of bags, so the right occasion has to come around in order for consumers to use a reusable bag.
